90, passed away Monday, July 6, 2020. Born in Wayne County, she lived there most of her life. She was a 1949 graduate of Massey Business School, had worked as a substitute teacher, Avon Representative, was a homemaker and a Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary volunteer. She was a faithful member of Jesup First Baptist Church since January 1952 where she worked in the nursery for over fifty years. She enjoyed camping, fishing and visiting with campground friends. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Matthew Reddish, parents, Moultry and Georgia Griffis, sisters, Jessie and Willene, and brother, William.
Survivors are her husband of seventy years, Warren G. Reddish of Jesup; daughter and son-in-law, Lanita Horne and David of Odum; sons and daughters-in-law, Alan Reddish and Carol of Athens, Mitchell Reddish and Barbara of Deland, FL, and Steven Reddish and Paula of Jesup; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the ongoing COVID -19 pandemic funeral and burial will be private.
