Josh Grooms

Brunswick – Joshua Harold Grooms, 36, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Brunswick.  He was a native and lifelong resident of Brunswick and had worked as a painter, but mostly in landscaping.  He attended Darien Church of God and was preceded in death by his father, Harold Grooms, and stepbrother, Mark Grooms.

Survivors are his mother, Rose Grooms of Brunswick; girlfriend, Becky Smith of Brunswick; sister, Sandy Rae of Hazlehurst, and stepsisters, Renee Griffis of Brunswick and Roberta Typrowicz of TN.

Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Friday, February 13, at Darien Church of God.

Funeral services will follow at 11 AM at Darien Church of God with Pastor Dennis Johnson officiating.

Burial will be in Whispering Pines Cemetery.
