Jeffrey Quentin Nicholas, 59, died at his home after a battle with lung cancer, surrounded by his loving family on May 19, 2024. Jeff was born in Fairmont, WV but has resided in Georgia for the past 37 years. Jeff lived life to the fullest. He loved being outdoors. He was a mechanic for years then became an over-the-road truck driver for the past 10 years. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Haught Gorman of GA; father, Odie “Buck” Nicholas of WV; brother, Daryl Nicholas of WV; mother-in-law, Phyllis Jimenez of WY; father-in-law, Terry McBride of ID; and brother-in-law, David Louder of ID.
Survivors are his loving wife of 34 years, Lisa Nicholas; step-daughters, Crystal (Freddie) Vaughn of FL, and Kayla (Boshna W.) Coleman of GA.; sister, Beverly (Joe) Pitek of WV; brothers, David (Glenda) Nicholas of GA, and Isaac (Jeannie) McHenry of WV; step-father and step-mother, Steve (Terry) Gorman of WV; mother-in-law, Jean Stewart of ID; father-in-law, Ken Jimenez of WY; sister-in-law, Cammie McBride of ID; brothers-in-law, Kevin McBride of ID, and Kenneth Jiminez of ND; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will honor Jeff’s final wishes to be cremated with no services. Cards/Condolences can be sent to:
