Ludowici – Cornelia Jeanette Kasperian, 76, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Coastal Manor in Ludowici and under the care of GHC Hospice. Born in Montezuma, GA, she lived in Long County most of her life. She retired from civil service as a housing inspector, she worked as a food service supervisor with Smith State Prison in Glennville and at Kroger in Hinesville for several years. She was a loving mother and grandmother, a member of First Baptist Ludowici, and was preceded in death by her parents, W. J. and Mary Lucy Stafford, and her grandson, Andrew Kasperian, III.
Survivors are her sons, Andy Kasperian, Jr. (Lisa), Timothy Kasperian (Drucilla), and Eric Kasperian (Tammy), all of Ludowici; brothers, George Stafford (Lynne) of Jesup, Harold Stafford (Fran) of Rocky Mount, NC, and Gary Stafford of Ludowici; grandchildren, Matt, Morgan, Travis, Sierra, Gage, and Parker; 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 9, at 3 PM at Howard Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
Burial will follow in Baggs Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Chance Crighton, Parker Kasperian, Gage Kasperian, Travis Kasperian, Matt Kasperian, and Josh Stafford.
