Ludowici – Jared Alan Lemmen, 45, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at his home under the care of his family and Hospice of South Georgia.  Born in Fridley, MN, he lived in Long County for several years.  He was employed with Virginia Carolina Refractory as a brick mason and was a jack-of-all-trades.  His greatest passion was spending time with his sons, especially if fishing was involved.

Survivors are his sons, Mason Lemmen and Gavan Lemmen, both of Ludowici; parents Nancy McQuarrie of Ludowici and Arlo Lemmen of Hawaii; the mother of his children, Casie Kenny of Ludowici; sister, Mary Gordon of Walthourville; brothers, Steven Lemmen of San Antonio, TX, Benjamin Lemmen of Riverton, WY, and Timothy Lemmen of Denver, CO; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be Sunday, January 15 at 2 PM in the Howard Funeral Home chapel.
