Jared Aaron Allen

38, unexpectedly passed away June 5, 2024.  He was born in Deland, FL, and lived in Long County for many years.  His girls were his life.  He loved to swim in the pool with them and coach them in different sports.  Whatever his girls wanted to do, he was there to support and help them.  He was preceded in death by his father, James F. Allen.

Survivors are his wife, Jami of Ludowici; two daughters, Rochelle and Raelyn of Ludowici; sister and brother-in-law, Jarynne Janis (Joey) of Colorado Springs, CO; nephews, Jace, Mason, Gage, and Gunner Janis all of Colorado Springs, CO; and his mother, Jackie Thomas of Eustis, FL.

Memorial services will be Monday, June 10 at Howard Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm.

Visitation will be one hour prior.

Pallbearers will be Andy Moseley, Kamena Lee, Tyrone Crittenden, Crystal Felix, Christina Dukes, Coco Barber-Green, Petra Bennett, and Dwight Gordon.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Goodwill Associates.
