Ft. Smith, AR – Janet G. Byers, 62, of Fort Smith passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023, in her home. She was a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her father, James “Bennie” Griffin, and her husband, David R. Byers.

She is survived by one daughter, Kaitlyn Byers; sons, Seth Byers and Jude Byers both of Fort Smith; two brothers, Mike Griffin of Virginia and Keith Griffin of Florida; one granddaughter, Isabella Ahrendt of Fort Smith; her mother, Kathryn Griffin of Ludowici, and one aunt, Susan Collins of Jesup.

Funeral services will be at 10 AM Thursday, April 20 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren, Arkansas.
