Glennville – Jammie Allen Gibson, 43, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Born at Ft. Stewart, he lived in Midway and Long County all his life. He worked alongside his brother in home repair and was an avid outdoorsman. He grew up camping with his family, often fishing and crabbing at the coast, along with his hunting trips. He was a Christian and attended A New Beginning Church, and was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Marsh.
Survivors are his wife, Heather Heffley Gibson of Glennville; daughters, Kaitlynn Massey (Michael) of Ft. Meade, MD, Brooklyn, Miriah, and Leah; son, Michael Adkins of Glennville; father, Patrick Ysbrand (Cindy) of Hinesville; sisters, Melissa Ysbrand of Hinesville and Brittany Gurganus; brothers, William Ysbrand of Hinesville, Keith Ysbrand (Sky) of Glennville, Carlton Whigham (Amanda) of Garfield, Rickie Gibson of MS, and Shane Gurganus of FL; mother-in-law, Linda Heffley of Ft. Meade, MD; grandchildren, Nikolai, Gabriella, and Michael; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 6, at 4 PM at Howard Funeral Home with Pastors Tom and Libby Gardner officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
