Darien – James Wilber “Catfish” Clark, 45, died Sunday, November 1, 2020 in Crestview, FL. Born in Hinesville, he lived in McIntosh County most of his life. He worked as a carpenter and commercial fisherman and was a member of Darien Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Sadie Hope Clark.
Survivors are his daughter, Shyann Clark of Darien; sons, River Clark and Trevor Clark of Shellman Bluff; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeannie and Chris Webb and Denise “Peanut” Clark of Shellman Bluff, Paula and Michael Turgeon and Cherryl and Richard Fields of Darien, Eugenia and Shane Stutts of Brunswick, Bobbie and Marco Sanchez of Tiger, and Kathy Maulden of Goose Creek, SC; brothers and sister-in-law, Sam Clark and Billy and Talina Clark of Shellman Bluff; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Saturday, November 7 at 2 PM at Darien Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with Bishop Randy Glenn officiating.
Family will receive friends at the church.
