Jack Stephens

Ludowici – Jack Daniel Stephens, 40, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup after a sudden illness.  Born in Hinesville, he had lived in Ludowici the last five years.  He was self-employed at Master Tint in Hinesville where he was one of the best at auto accessorizing, including stereos and window tinting.  He was a loving husband, father, son and friend and was known to be a prankster.  He was a member of First Assembly of God in Meridian, MS and was preceded in death by his mother, Lori Stephens.

Survivors are his wife and best friend, Clara Stephens of Ludowici; daughter, Destiny Stephens of Ludowici; sons, Daniel Stephens (fiancé, Nicole) of Pinetta, FL and Dakota Stephens of Ludowici; father, Duane Stephens of Meridian, MS; sister, Michele Shurum of Dadeville, AL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Troy and Susan McGuire of Lake Placid, FL; nephew, John Shurum of Dadeville, AL.

Visitation with COVID- 19 distancing will be held Friday, May 15 from 1-3 PM at the chapel of Howard Funeral Home.
