Howard Wright

Jesup – Howard E. Wright, 63, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023, at his home.  He was a native and lifelong resident of Wayne County, a retired mill worker, and an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Leroy, Sr. and Lillian Wright, and brother, Joseph Leroy Wright, Jr.

Survivors are a daughter, Angie Bettner of Odum; sons, Chris Wright (Meg), and Steven Wright of Blackshear; sisters, Drucilla Kasperian (Tim) of Ludowici, Judith Montover, and Leila Johnson (Chuck); brother, Thomas Wright (Patty), all of Jesup; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Private memorial services will be held later.
