Ludowici – Homer Lloyd Young, 69, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at his home.  Born in Brunswick, he lived in Long County most of his life and worked all his life as a sheetrock installer.  An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, crabbing, seining, tinkering on engines,  and riding the dirt roads.  He was devoted to his family and was preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Young, and a sister, Wanda Mobbs. 

Survivors are his companion, Jo Nell Roach of Ludowici; sisters, Angie Doyle and Barbara Spady (Troy) of Ludowici, and Sharon Padgett (Dick) and Tami Braxton (Gareth) of Townsend; daughters, Christy Garcia and Carolyn Huerta of Brunswick; sons, Jeffery Williams of Brunswick and Chris Williams of Lancaster, SC; 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held by the family.
