Henry Joseph Alexis Korrecta

82, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville.  Born in Connecticut, he traveled all over during his military career, settling in Long County in 2018. He retired from the US Army after 25 years of service, where he also served in Vietnam.  He enjoyed the outdoors while listening to gospel music and was a member of A New Beginning Church.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Korrecta.

Survivors are his daughters, Christine Hewitt of Ludowici and Tracy Harper (Mitchell) of Columbia City, IN; son, Donald Korrecta (Linda) of Pontiac, IL; sister, Stella Faunce (Gus) of Plainfield, CT; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be March 1 at 10 AM at A New Beginning Church in Ludowici.  Pastor Tom Gardner will be officiating.
