Ludowici – Hazel E. Parker, 90, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023, in Jesup. Born in Welch, WV, she lived in Long County for the past 65 years. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and feeding anyone who entered her home. She was a member of Compass Worship Center and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Parker, Sr., daughter and son-in-law, Pat Zoucks and Johnny, and a great-grandson, Cole DeLoach.
Survivors are her daughter, Debbie Wilson (Randy) of Ludowici; sons, Bobby Parker (Connie Wilson), Dale Parker (Wanda), and Donald “Gobbler” Parker, of Ludowici; sister, Erma Jones of Orofino, ID; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 23 at 3 p.m. at Compass Worship Center with Rev. Gene Parker officiating.
Visitation will be 2 hours prior to services at the church.
Burial will follow in Baggs Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be her grandsons, Patrick Zoucks, Gary DeLoach, Bubba Parker, Will Parker, Robert Parker, and David Parker.
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of At Home Senior Living of Jesup.
