Darien – Benjamin Greg Rowe, Sr., 55, died Sunday, November 28, 2021, at his residence under the care of his family and GHC Hospice. He was a native and lifelong resident of McIntosh County and was a framer carpenter most of his life. He enjoyed time spent outdoors hunting and with his family. He was a huge Georgia Bulldog football fan and preceded in death by his daughters, Amanda Rowe and Kelsey Smith, parents, Earl and Lorise Rowe and Hayden Davis, and brother, Clint Rowe.
Survivors are his wife, Robin Rowe of Darien; daughters, Racheal Smith, Betsy Smith, Mollie Rowe, and Karlie Rowe of Darien, and Rebecka Insalaco and husband Larry of Brunswick; sons, Ben Rowe, Jr. of Crescent, Phillip Smith and Liyan Smith of Darien; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wilma and Audley Monroe and Loretta and Ronald Owens of Crescent, and Sandy and Carl Scherrer of Brunswick; brothers, Clay Rowe and wife Rhonda of Gum Branch, Sunny Rowe and Shane Davis of Townsend, Smitty Davis and Frankie Davis of Darien; sister-in-law, Ruby Rowe of Townsend; sixteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, December 1, at 3 PM from Ebenezer Cemetery with Rev. Danny Stilwell officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 30, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
