Grace (Rozier) Hulett

Townsend – Grace M. Hulett, 87, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023.  A native and lifelong resident of McIntosh County, she retired from the McIntosh County School System as a bus driver and was a homemaker.  She enjoyed the outdoors, especially tending her flower garden, and was an excellent cook.  She was a member of Townsend Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hulett, son, Gary Hulett, daughter, Gwen Roberson Ryals, parents, Quinton and Pearl Rozier, and sister, Gloria Braxton.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Galin Hulett and Ami of Darien; brother, Glenn Rozier of Townsend; aunt, Mildred Rozier of Townsend; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Giselle Mayhew (Dave), Joy Roberson, Tonya Viars (Jamie), Gabriel Hulett, Grayson Hulett, Brandt Mitchell, Deniacia Mitchell, Olivia Hulett, David Hulett, Riley Mitchell, Jacob Mayhew, Isaiah Mayhew, and Patrick Viars; great-great-grandson, Dante Mayhew; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, June 10, at 11 AM at Plum Orchard Cemetery with Rev. Danny Stilwell officiating. 

The visitation will be Friday, June 9, from 6-8 PM at Howard Funeral Home in Ludowici.

Active pallbearers will be Grayson Hulett, David Hulett, Gabriel Hulett, Keith Oglesbee, Brandt Mitchell, and Jerry Ryals.
