So sorry to hear of your loss.  My family and I grew up in Winton with Gladys and her brothers and sisters. Her dad and my dad were very good friends.  Many memories. Prayers for peace and comfort for your family.

Michelle, Ruby, Michael, John and family, I offer my deepest condolences and love. I met Gladys and your family a good 45-47 years ago when I was a teenager and our parents were good friends We spent many weekends and evenings together sitting around with them drinking their coffee and chatting, and I was hanging out and playing with you all and Butchy. So many great and fond memories of Gladys. She was a beautiful lady with a heart of gold and a love for family and friends. I am so very glad that I was able to see Gladys, you and your son just a couple of years ago while each of us was visiting in Va. Beach. It had been several years since we had visited, but we picked up our conversation like it had been the day before. Our friendship and love over the years never faded and my memories and love for her will forever be treasured in my heart. I pray for comfort., strength and peace fir each of you. I love you, Susan
