Ginny (Ingle) Stringer

McDonough - Virginia Ingle “Ginny” Stringer, age 91, formerly of Ludowici, Georgia, passed away on October 21, 2022. She was born in Birmingham, AL to the U.G. Ingle and Annie Ruth Hodges.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James Daniel Stringer; siblings, Neal Ingle, Monty Ingle, Betty Ingle Terry, U.G. Ingle Jr., Pauline Ingle, Paralee Brown, Loree Mayer, Eve Landers, Vivian Lawson, Evelyn Clark; as well as a host of other family members and friends.

She is survived by her children, Janet L. Stringer of Jacksonville, FL, William J. “Bill” (Dale) Stringer of Covington, GA, and Robert D. “Bob” Stringer of Warner Robins, GA; grandchildren, Shae (Taylor) Jones, Bobbie (Josh) Lewis, and Ethan (Alexa) Stringer; one great-granddaughter, Ella Stringer; several nieces and nephews and extended family members.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 27, at 11:00 AM, in the East Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Pastor Eric Rentz officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

A graveside service and interment will take place on Saturday, October 29 at 11:00 AM at Elim Baptist Church Cemetery, 6650 Elim Church Road NE, Ludowici, GA 31316.
