Gary Pate

Hinesville – Gary S. Pate, 65, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023, at his residence.  Born in Macclenny, FL, he lived most of his life in Long County, moving to Hinesville a few years ago.  Gary received his bachelor’s degree and worked for over twenty-five years at Ft. Stewart.  Gary was devoted to his family and was adored by his nieces and nephews.  He attended the Church of God and was preceded in death by his father, Charles Pate, and sisters, Diane Barnard, Patsy Holland, and Susan Bean.

Survivors are his mother, Naomi Westberry Parker of Hinesville; brother and sister-in-law, Troy Foskey, Jr. and Melissa of Hinesville and brother-in-law, David Bean of Hinesville; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held by the family.
