Minnie Faye Rowe Harlow, 69, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, GA. She was born in Jesup, GA, on December 15, 1955, and she was a resident of Townsend in McIntosh County - for most of her life. Before retiring, she was employed by Wometco Vending Company on Fort Stewart, GA - where she met her future husband, Michael Allen Harlow - who was stationed at the US Army base there. His green eyes - her favorite color - captured her attention, and his charm stole her heart. After Mike’s retirement from the Army, they were the owner/operators of Dusty’s Truck Line.

Faye loved traveling - seeing different parts of the country was her passion - and her favorite places to visit were Cade’s Cove and Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede in Tennessee. She loved animals - and enjoyed her little farm of chickens, goats, bunnies, horses, a llama, dogs, cats, and donkeys. She loved beautiful things, and she deeply loved her family and friends. She was an excellent cook - making incredible pecan cakes, sour cream cakes, meat loaf, homemade macaroni and cheese, and other delicious foods. She loved to make others happy - and she always wanted them to feel loved. 

Faye’s true love was her devoted husband, Mike - who was her sweetheart for 42 years. Married on March 18, 1983, they created a life together - a good life - with the highest of highs and at times - the lowest of lows. Yet - through it all - they weathered every storm of life together. They enjoyed 41 years of marriage - before Mike’s passing in 2024. 

Faye loved her Lord, and she was a faithful member of the Townsend Church of God from an early age. She was a devoted Sunday School teacher, a beloved Youth Leader, and a fantastic Ladies Ministries President for many years. Her service to her Lord and her church touched lives near and far. Her strong faith in God gave her great strength and comfort throughout her life.

She  was preceded in death by her husband - Michael Harlow; her parents - Sidney and Minnie Rowe; and several loved Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents. 

Survivors include her sister - Katie Warren of Townsend; her brothers - Keith Rowe (Teresa) of Hilliard, FL; Billy Rowe (Jackie) and Stacy Rowe, all of Townsend; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, extended family and friends, and her beloved Border Collie/Great Pyrenees puppy - Oreo. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 - at 2:00 pm at the Townsend Church of God, 1231 Church of God Road NW, Townsend, GA - with Reverend Bruce Miller and Reverend Danny Stillwell officiating.

Burial will be at the Davis Cemetery in McIntosh County, on the Jones Highway. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm at the church - one hour before the service.

Active pallbearers will be Paul-Michael Warren, Jonathan Warren, Brandon Rowe, Joshua Rowe, Stephen Ryals, and Carl Conaway.
