Eric J. Cessac

Ludowici – Eric Joseph Cessac, 63, died Friday, January 29, 2021 in the Wayne Memorial Hospital and under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.  Born in Rockledge, FL, he had lived there and in Ohio until settling in Ludowici in 2019.  He had worked as a shrimp boat captain prior to working in industrial construction from which he retired.  An outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, was also a Mason, Shriner, and member of Compass Worship Center in Ludowici.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Minus and Patsy Cessac.

Survivors are his wife, Katherine Cessac of Ludowici; daughter, Melanie Hydle and fiance’ Mike Bohr of Ludowici; sons and daughter-in-law, Shane and Linda Jones of Cocoa, FL and Michael Muntague of Fayette, OH; brothers and sister-in-law, Charlie and Joanne Cessac of Blue Ridge and Phillip Cessac of Fayette, OH; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held later.
