Donny Middleton

Hinesville – James Donald “Donny” Middleton, 63, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024, in Hinesville.  Born in Orlando, FL, he grew up in Southeast Georgia, living most of his life in Long and Liberty counties, and graduated from Long County High School, class of 1979.  He worked for many years in the cable industry and maintenance and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and NASCAR.  His most treasured time was spent with family, especially his granddaughters.  He was a member of Elim Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Shelby and Marilyn Middleton, and sister, Lisa Kelly.

Survivors are his daughter, Lindsey Middleton; sister, Tammie Fleeger (Tony) and brother, Greg Middleton (Jill), both of Ludowici; aunt, Sandra Odom of Savannah, and uncle, Dennis Mosley of Kissimmee, FL; two granddaughters, Laney and Marley; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, February 6 at 11 AM at the Howard Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10-11 AM before the service.
