Donald Combs Obituary

Ludowici – Donald C. Combs, Sr., 86, died Friday, January 1, 2021 in the Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in Pierce County, he lived in Long County since 1946. He was retired from civil service at Ft. Stewart as a Supervisor Computer Specialist and was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a member of Jones Creek Baptist Church and preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy “Dot” Combs.

Survivors are his sons, C. Michael McCall and Ricky McCall of Ludowici and Donald Combs, Jr. of Jesup; brother, Durelle Combs of Ludowici; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID- 10 restrictions, graveside services for family only will be private.
