Diane (Rozier) O'Steen

Townsend – Brenda Diane O’Steen, 75, passed away Monday, January 30, 2022, at Sears Coastal in Brunswick and under the care of Hospice of the Golden Isles.  She was a native and lifelong resident of McIntosh County.  Diane was a homemaker and had previously worked at Sea Pak and Altama Delta in Darien.  She attended Wayfair Primitive Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her son, Marty Lynn, sisters, Ivy Holland, Bertha White, and Nancy Teston, and a brother, Carroll Rozier.

Survivors are her husband, Homer O’Steen of Townsend; daughter, Ariel O’Steen of Townsend; sons and daughters-in-law, Edward Lynn and Connie of Waynesville and Rodney Lynn and Nikki of Townsend; daughter-in-law, Lisa Lynn of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Irma Rowe of Townsend and Christine Schonfeld of North Carolina;  fourteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Thursday, February 2, at 11 AM at Plum Orchard Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 1, from 4-6 PM at the Howard Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be John Rozier, Johnny White, Lamar White, Tony Rozier, Ernie Mosley, and Josh Walker.
