Dewey Weaver

Darien – Dewey Wesley Weaver, Sr., 70, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025, at his home.  Born in Brunswick, he was a lifelong resident of McIntosh County.  He worked for many years at Phillips Seafood and at Skipper’s Fish Camp in Darien.  He was a loving man who was well respected and loved by his community.  He attended Darien Church of God and was preceded in death by his wife, Dale Rowe Weaver.

Survivors are his sons, Wesley Weaver (Kaycie) of Darien and Dewey Weaver, Jr. (Leah) of Clemmons, NC; grandchildren, Brandon Weaver, Mikayla Ragan, Noah Hauser, and Claire Sapp.

Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, October 9, at 6 PM at Northside Baptist Church in Darien.
