Dennis Wallace Obituary
Cannon Bluff – Dennis E. Wallace, 68, died Monday, November 9, 2020 at his home. Born in Savannah, he had lived in McIntosh County all his life. He worked as a commercial fisherman and was a tugboat captain, a job he dearly loved, until his retirement. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend and a member of Morgans Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred M., Jr. and Catherine Wallace and a brother, Shorty Wallace.
Survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, Alfred, II and Sarah Wallace of Cannon Bluff; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Gail Wallace and Bill and Meg Wallace of Darien, Jimmy and Donna Wallace and Bruce Wallace of Cannon Bluff; two grandchildren, Little Dennis Wallace and Vera Wallace; several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services will be held at Morgans Chapel UMC Cemetery with Rev. Wesley Deverger officiating.
