Ludowici – Deborah Ann Ryals, 69, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023, at her home. Born in Rome, GA, she lived in Long County for the past 47 years. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, playing bingo, and watching horror movies. She was a member of Ludowici Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Leon E. Ryals, Jr., son, Wesley J. Ryals, Sr., parents, JD and Martha Mobbs, great-grandson, Wesley J. Ryals, III, and sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Poppell and Brenda Mobbs.
Survivors are her daughters, Tammy Rowe of Townsend and Katie Crowder of Ludowici; sons, Leon E. Ryals, III (Shannon), of Patterson, and Jerome L. Ryals (Bonnie) of Odum; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Roberson of Hinesville; sisters, Linda Roberson of Townsend and Rita Mobbs of Rome, GA; brothers, Danny Mobbs of Townsend and Michael Mobbs of Rome, GA; grandchildren, Jeanette McKay (Johnathan), Wesley Ryals, Jr. (Makayla), Holly Ryals, Katelyn Ryals, Breanna Ryals, Caleb Ryals, Dalton Ryals, and Christy Stronberg; 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no services at this time.
