Glennville – Deborah L. Coleman, 66, died Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Augusta University Hospital. She was born in Rome and lived in Southeast Georgia most of her life, having been raised in Wayne County and living in Glennville the past twenty-one years. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who instilled a love for God and others in her family. She was a pianist for more than fifty years and used her talents for God’s glory as a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Esther Coleman.
Survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law, Christina and Brett Bacon of Glennville, Lisa and Chase Davis of Jesup, and Amanda Massey of Champaign, IL; sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick, Sr. and Angel Massey of St. Louis, MO, Paul, Jr. and Leah Massey of Jesup, Grayson, I and Kristi Massey of Hinesville, Matthew and Amber Massey of Ludowici, Mark Massey of Glennville, and Thomas Massey of Grafton, OH; sister and brother-in-law, Nancee and Ricky Bottoms of Odum; grandchildren, Christina (Jesse), Patrick, Jr., Timothy, Derek, Dylan, Aimee, Aidan, Kathryn, Grayson, Jr., Lily, David, Gabriel, Caden, Chase B., Chase D., Landon, Layton, Vayda, Austin, Conner, Andrew, Emily, Madison, and Conlee; great-grandchildren, Tallen, Maddox, and Asher; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday, August 15 at 3 PM at Trinity Baptist Church in Ludowici with Pastor Terry Sellars and Bro. Earl Kicklighter officiating.
Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery in Jesup.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
Active pallbearers will be Patrick Massey, Jr., Timothy Massey, Derek Massey, Dylan Massey, Grayson Massey, Jr., and Austin Massey.
Honorary pallbearers will be Deborah’s grandchildren.
