David Shaun Jeffery Klein

Ludowici – David Shaun Jeffery Klein, 41, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025, in Savannah.  Born in Louisville, KY, he lived in Long County since 1996 and spent the last several years in Savannah.  He attended culinary classes with the hope of owning a food truck with his family.  A Denver Broncos fan, he enjoyed cooking, music, dancing, playing pool, Tybee beach, and different types of sports.  He was a talented baseball player and had dreams of trying out for the Savannah Bananas.  He attended Elim Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his grandparents, LaVerne Robertson, Lee Underwood, and Roger and Joyce Klein, along with a cousin, Trevor Wells.

Survivors are his wife, Amber Peck-Klein of Savannah; daughters, Cadee Peck and Marlee Klein of Savannah; sons, Peyton Klein of Tampa, FL and Cameron and Aaron Klein of Savannah; mother, Cathy Mann (Tom Lynch) of Ludowici; father, Jeffery Klein (Jenny) of Custer, KY; step-father, John Mann (Mary) of Richmond Hill; sister, Samantha Wells (Joel) of Ludowici; brothers, Steven Jeffries (Savannah) of Lebanon, KY, and Allen McGowen (Shannon) and Nathan Randall (Jessica) of KY; aunts and uncles, Beverly Leister (Dwayne), David Underwood (Linda), Gary Klein (Irene), and Kim Williams (Tom); several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life will be on Thursday, July 3, at dawn on the Tybee Island Pier.  In case of inclement weather, please check the funeral home website for updates.
