Townsend – Daniel L. Wallace, 69, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at his home, under the care of his family and hospice.  He was born and raised in McIntosh his whole life.  He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.  He loved his family and was Church of God by faith.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Ethel Young Wallace; his sisters, Nita Huggins, Estelle Denison, Susie Rowe, and Delores Phillips; and one brother, Donnie Wallace.

Survivors are his wife of 47 years, Phyllis Wallace; daughter, Penny Wallace; sons, Chris Wallace and Corey Wallace; sister, Connie Rowe; grandchildren, Tyler Wallace, Elizabeth Wallace, and Lewis Wallace-Davis; great-grandchildren, Kelly Wallace, Kinsley Wallace, and Stella Wallace all of Townsend; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 28, at 2:00 pm at Wallace-Deverger Cemetery.
