Dani (Johnson) Sweat

Darien – Dani Rhiannon Sweat, 39, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, in Jacksonville, FL.  Born in Brunswick, she lived in McIntosh County most of her life.  Before becoming disabled, she worked in the hotel/motel industry and had worked at Piggly Wiggly in Darien.  She was a member of the Darien Church of God.

Survivors are her husband, Josh Sweat of Darien; daughter, Sarahbeth Jackson of Statesboro; parents, Prenthia Luke (Buddy) of Statesboro, and Wayne Johnson (Karey) of Darien; brothers, Brian Johnson (Mara), David Johnson, and Landon Johnson of Darien, Jason Johnson (Lennie) of Brandson, MS, and Jacob Luke of Statesboro; grandparents, Pastors Tommy and Patricia Whaley of Darien; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 10, at 12 PM at the Darien Church of God with Pastor Tommy Whaley officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

Burial will be private.

Active pallbearers will be family and friends.
