Dana (Skelton) Winslette

Dana Skelton Winslette, 60, of Shellman Bluff, GA died Thursday, January 13,

2022.  Born in Anderson, SC, and raised in Clemson, SC, Dana was the daughter of B.R.

Skelton and the late Odetta Campbell Skelton. Dana was a graduate of Daniel

High School, Clemson, SC.  She moved to the Georgia coast many years ago where

she was most at home. Her favorite pastimes included fishing and boating with her

late husband and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Julian Bradford “Buster” Winslette; her

sister, Ginger Skelton; and her mother, Odetta Campbell Skelton.

She is survived by her father, B.R. (Vickie) Skelton; her two brothers, Will (Meg) Skelton of

Castle Rock, CO and John Skelton of Macon, GA; her nephew, Jack Skelton of

Macon, GA; her stepmother Lynda Hamilton of Statesboro, GA, and her many

friends of Shellman Bluff.

A memorial service for Dana will be held at a later time.
