Dale Davis

Ludowici – Dale Davis, 62, died Saturday, December 11, 2021, at his home under the care of his family and GHC Hospice.  A lifelong resident of “Davis Hill” in Long County, he retired from the City of Walthourville as a mechanic.  Dale was at home in the woods, spending time with his family hunting and fishing.  He was a US Army veteran, a member of Walthourville Presbyterian Church, and preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Myrtice Dunham Davis, and brother, Gene Davis.

Survivors are his wife, Lisa Echols Davis of Ludowici; daughters and son-in-law, Kimberly Davis of Ludowici and Kayla and Adam Kurth of Ruffs Dale, PA; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Andrea Davis of Ludowici; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Wilford Morris of Ludowici; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Judy Davis of Reidsville and Larry and Jean Davis of Ludowici; sister-in-law, Jackie Davis of Flemington; grandchildren, Levi Kurth, Presley Davis, and Kye Davis, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 15 at 11 AM from the Howard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Gardner and Rev. Alan Darsey officiating.  Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 14 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be Jason Bess, Jeff Hewitt, Jonathan Tilley, Mark Thurman, Leo Barrett, and Jeff McIntosh.
