Ludowici – On Nov 15, 2025, my mother, Clara Lee Brammer Gavan, left this world for her heavenly home with GOD the FATHER. She was born on July 4, 1938, in Lawrence County, Ohio. She was a member of Carter Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida. She made her home at the residence of her Son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Arceli Hilgenberg of Ludowici, Georgia. She was a 1956 graduate of Dawson Bryant High School.
Survivors include her Son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Arceli Hilgenberg of Ludowici, Georgia. One brother and Sister-in-Law, Danny and Sherry Brammer of Leatherwood, Ohio, one sister, Sally Jo Hankins of Ironton, Ohio, one granddaughter, Halee Anne Holbert, and one great-granddaughter, Hayden Grace Holbert of Ironton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walden and Olive Brammer of Deering, Ohio, and her husband, Gary L Gavan of Ironton, Ohio. Her two brothers are James M (Hoot) Brammer of Auburndale, Florida, and Ray Brammer of Franklin Furnace, Ohio.
Services will be held at Howard Funeral Home in Ludowici, Georgia, on November 19, 2025, at 4 PM.
Immediately after her services, a celebration of her life will be held at the home of Steve and Arceli Hilgenberg. Burial will be by cremation, date to be announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Affinis Hospice (Pooler), 130 Canal St., Suite 104, Pooler, Ga 31322
