Ludowici – Charlotte Elizabeth Skipper, 79, died Tuesday, April 12, 2022, under the care of Hospice of South Georgia. She was born in Miami, FL, and lived in Long County most of her life. She was retired from the Long County School System where she served as a paraprofessional and bus driver. She was a homemaker who loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed cooking and sewing. She was a member of First Baptist Ludowici where she sang in the choir. Her daughter, Wendy Moody Dasher preceded her in death.
Survivors are her husband of 38 years, Dan Skipper of Ludowici; daughter, Lisa Moody (Richard Roberts) of Ludowici; sons, Irbie Moody and Charles Moody (Christina), both of Ludowici; sisters, Martha Pearl (Ricky) of AL, and Linda Zeh of Orlando, FL; brothers, Paul Eason (Norma) of Dead Valley, MI, and Billy Johns (Lorna) of Miami, FL; five grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and faithful K9 companion, Annie.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 15 at 11 AM from First Baptist Ludowici.
Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
Active pallbearers will be Daylen Petoff, Jace Petoff, Brantley Hall, Bryson Lyons, Folsom Pound, and Dillon Dunham.
