Townsend – Clinton “Buck” Ryals, 69, died Monday, August 30, 2021, at his residence after a short illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of McIntosh County. He was a heavy equipment operator for Union Camp for 26 years and retired from the McIntosh County Road Dept. He enjoyed spending time with his family and attended Eulonia Church of God of Prophecy. He was preceded in death by his sister, Cindy, and brother, Winton.
Survivors are his wife of 49 years, Linda McIntosh Ryals; sons and daughters-in-law, Bryan and Mandy Ryals and Robbie and Deana Ryals; sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and Julius Rozier; brother and sister-in-law, William and Sherrell Ryals, all of Townsend; grandchildren, Caleb, Kaitlyn, Kasen, and Caden; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Thursday, September 2 at 10 AM at McIntosh Cemetery with Rev. Danny Stilwell officiating. The family will receive visitors 30 minutes prior to services at the cemetery.
