Brent Klinedinst

Ludowici – Brent Allen Klinedinst, Sr., 74, died Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Memorial Health in Savannah.  Born in Walkerton, IN, he lived in Long County since 1974.  He graduated with honors from Brewton-Parker College and Georgia Southern University before receiving his Master’s in Divinity from Regent University.  He retired from Hobart Corporation as a manufacturing engineer after thirty years of service.  After retirement he was ministry assistant at Jones Creek Baptist Church.  He was a US Navy veteran and served his community as a member of the Long County Library Board and Long County Development Authority.  He was a member of Jones Creek Baptist Church and the Sr. Adult Sunday School class.  As part of his ministry, he served with missions and ministry with New Sunbury – Altamaha Baptist Association and traveled throughout the area singing at churches, retirement homes, and any venue requested.  He was preceded in death by an infant son, Matthew Klinedinst, and numerous siblings.

Survivors are his wife, Ernestine Parker “Tina” Klinedinst of Ludowici; sons, Brent Allen Klinedinst, Jr. and David Klinedinst of Ludowici; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 13 at 11 AM at Jones Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Allan Pierce officiating.  Burial will follow in Jones Creek Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

Active pallbearers will be Charlie Bryant, Will Walters, Ruben Alegria, Josh Anderson, Robbie Pitts, Thomas Johnston, and James Poland.

Honorary pallbearers will be his Hobart family and Jones Creek Machinery employees.
