Billy Gordon Obituary

Shellman Bluff – William Joseph “Billy” Gordon, 69, died Saturday, January 30, 2021 at his home under the care of his family and GHC Hospice. Born in California, he had lived in McIntosh County most of his life. He retired from Chatham County as a road contractor and was a veteran of the US Army. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed time on the water fishing and working on his various building projects. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Shirley Gordon.

Survivors are his wife of forty-two years, Gail Gordon of Shellman Bluff; son, Mathew Gordon (Alexis Roberts) of Shellman Bluff; grandson, William Taylor Gordon of Shellman Bluff; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Griff Moody of Alpharetta; brother, Randall Gordon of Atlanta; aunts, Lillian Gordon Simmons and Jan Gordon Mixon of Ludowici; numerous cousins.
