Beverly Young

63, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025, in Townsend.  She was born in Brunswick and lived in McIntosh County most of her life.  She had previously worked at Blustein’s Super Market and was a caregiver for the elderly.  Beverly was a member of Townsend Church of God and was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Williams, and stepbrother, Ryan Williams.

Survivors are her sons, Travis Townsend of Townsend and Brandon Mims of Hazlehurst; sister, Sarah Williams of Brunswick; one grandson, and her aunts, Alice Ryals, Patsy Newham, and Rosene Carter.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, August 2, at 2 PM at Townsend Church of God with Pastor Bruce Miller and Pastor Danny Stilwell officiating.
