Benny Howard

Ludowici – Benny Hart Howard, 62, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024, in Jesup.  He lived in Long County most of his life and retired from the US Army.  After retirement, he briefly worked on a shrimp boat.  He attended Elim Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Morris Howard and Mildred Register Cleveland.

Survivors are his brother, Jason Howard of Ludowici; aunt, Haroldene Salter (Ken) of Ludowici, and numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 17 at 11 AM at the Howard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Howard officiating.  Burial will follow in Elim Baptist Church Cemetery.

A visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
