Barbara (Taylor) Dasher

Ludowici – Barbara Ann Dasher, 70, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at her home under the care of her family and Hospice of South Georgia.  Born in Fernandina Beach, FL, she lived in Long County most of her life.  She operated an in-home daycare for several years and was a homemaker.  Barbara sang gospel music for many years with The New Hope Singers and was a member of Jones Creek Baptist Church where she taught youth Sunday school and was a nursery worker.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and was preceded in death by her parents, Stanton and Lois Taylor, and brother, Darvin Taylor.

Survivors are her husband of 53 years, Eddie Dasher; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan Fuentes and Jose, and Kristy DeLoach and Gary; sister, Evelyn Chapman, all of Ludowici; grandchildren, Taylor Cornell, Erick Fuentes, and Adam Fuentes; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 27 at 11 AM at Jones Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Allan Pierce and Chaplain Phil Bunce officiating.  Burial will follow in Jones Creek Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 5 PM Friday, April 26 at Jones Creek Baptist Church.

Active pallbearers will be Jim Chapman, Bobby Smith, Will Walters, Erick Fuentes, Adam Fuentes, and Branden Dasher.

Honorary pallbearers will be Don Melton, Robbie Murray, Bobby Chestnutt, John Durrence, Price Chapman, Jr., Durell Combs, Susan Eason, Tina Williams, and Vonshel Nelson.
