Ann Jeanette (Teston) O'Quinn

Ann Teston O’Quinn, 82, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024, under the care of Hospice of South Georgia and her family.  She was the pioneer woman of her family and had the cast iron pans to prove it.  She could cook anything and if you needed a recipe, you could always call Granny for it.  She was of Baptist faith.   She enjoyed growing various flowers, watching the birds outside, watching Western movies, and playing cards.  She managed several businesses throughout her lifetime and was such a people person.  She was known to make time for everyone who crossed her path, and she could talk to them about anything.  She was very knowledgeable about antiques and also liked to paint.  She always enjoyed spending time with her family and loved them all dearly.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Laura Teston; sisters, Elizabeth Cozzilino, Helen Love, Bobby Sloan, and Dorothy Leggett; and brothers Archie Teston, John Teston, and Madison Teston.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jessie Duncan (Gary) and Thronda Taylor (Jamie) both of Jesup, and Shelly Cooper (Brad) of Huntsville, AL; grandsons, Christopher Teston (Miranda), Gary Duncan, Jr. (Jennifer), Ben Blanton (Samantha), and Kyle Cooper; many great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Eloise Adcock; brother, Alfred Teston; numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be Saturday, June 8 at George Cemetery in Jesup at 2:00 pm.  Pastor Mindy Ingram and Pastor Dennie Waters will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be her family.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Hospice of South Georgia staff.
