Ludowici – Vivian Cason, 62, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at her residence. Born in Savannah, she had lived there and in Richmond Hill before moving to Long County over twenty years ago. She had worked as a secretary and was a homemaker. A member of Gum Branch Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Mitchell.
Survivors are her husband, Dale Cason of Ludowici; son, Harry McBride of Jesup; step-children, Katie Cannon of Jacksonville, FL and Joshua Cason of Tampa, FL; mother, Hilda Shuman of Ludowici; sisters, Angie Shuman of Ludowici and Vickie Shuman-Smith of Richmond Hill; brothers, David Barnes of Midway and Curtis Shuman of Savannah; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 6 at 11 AM in the Howard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gabe Gill officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the chapel.
Burial will be at 2 PM in the Surrency Cemetery, Surrency, GA.
