Rachel Alexandra Allen

Portland, OR – Rachel Alexandra “Ally” Allen, 29, passed away Monday, July 1, 2019 in Portland.  Born in Milledgeville, she grew up in Sandersville, graduated with honors from Washington County High School and attended Georgia Southern University. Ally had lived in Portland for several years where she was a server at Sherry’s and Red Robin.  She was an avid reader, artist and accomplished saxophonist as well as an exceptional student.  She was of the United Methodist faith and was an enthusiastic member of the youth group at Eatonton UMC.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jack Perkinson and paternal grandmother, Miriam Allen.

Survivors are her mother, Melanie Perkinson Nugent and husband Patrick of Tallahassee, FL; father, Powell Allen and wife Angela of Brunswick; sister and brother-in-law, Sara Allen Rudelich and Daniel of Euharlee; maternal grandmother, Eleanor Perkinson of Cleveland, TN; nephew and niece, Michael Alexander Rudelich and Eleanor Grace Rudelich.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Brunswick, GA and Riceville, TN.
