Townsend – Peggy L. Rozier, 74, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the SGHS Brunswick Campus. She was a lifelong resident of McIntosh County, and was a retired Registered Nurse, having worked at the Brunswick hospital and in home health care. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Peggy loved her cats and enjoyed gardening and growing blueberries. She was a member of Eulonia Church of God of Prophecy and was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Howard.
Survivors are her husband, Glenn Rozier of Townsend; daughters and son-in-law, Shelly Rivera of Carnigan and Candy Phillips and Chris of Norwalk, OH; son, Al Fisher, Jr. of Carnigan; step-daughter, Stacey Jung of Springfield; sisters, Barbara Nesbitt of St. Augustine, FL and Alma Pogue of Brunswick; sisters-in-law, Grace Hulett and Gloria Braxton both of Townsend; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 28 at 11 AM at Townsend Church of God with Rev. Danny Stilwell officiating. Burial will follow in Plum Orchard Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at Howard Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will be Jonathan Howard, Justin Howard, Joseph Matos, Al Fisher, Chris Phillips, Garreth Braxton, and Galin Hulett.
