Ludowici – Mollie Jane Rowe Nasworthy, 75, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at Southeast Regional Medical Center Brunswick Campus after a brief illness. Born in Townsend, she lived there most of her life and in Long County for several years. She retired from Altama Delta Corporation in Darien and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, farming, and cutting hay. She was a member of Townsend Church of God and attended Jones Creek Baptist Church and Eulonia Church of God of Prophecy. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl W. Rowe and son, James Randy Rowe.
Survivors are her husband, Gene Nasworthy of Ludowici; daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Ronnie Hill of Memphis, TN; step-daughter, Karen Nasworthy of Macon; step-son, Mike Nasworthy and wife Libby of Gray; mother, Alberta Rozier Conyers of Townsend; sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and Tommy Boings of Burnsville, NC and Edna and Ed Bowens of Perkins; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charlie and Frances Rowe of Riceboro, Tommy and Connie Rowe, Fred Rowe, Ray Rowe and Hank Rowe, all of Townsend; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, June 24 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 25 at 11 AM at Townsend Church of God with Rev. Allen Pierce and Rev. Danny Stilwell officiating. Mrs. Nasworthy will be carried to the church to lie in state one hour prior to services.
Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery in McIntosh County.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Rowe, Charles Rowe, Reggie Rowe, Ricky Stringer, Richard Holmes, and Gene Nasworthy, II.
