Hinesville – Ruby Milodean Davis, 87, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 in the Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville. She was a native and lifelong resident of Liberty County, had worked at ACS Industries in Walthourville, but was a homemaker most of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and a member of Gum Branch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Jimmy Davis.
Survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Clifton DeLoach and Harriett and Robert Smith of Ludowici, Faye and Allen Harris of Colbert; sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Julie Davis and Jeff and Chaley Davis of Hinesville, Carlton and Tina Davis of Savannah; brother and sister-in-law, Doyle and Barbara Todd of Savannah; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 11 at 11 AM at Gum Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Gabe Gill and Rev. Tom Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
Active pallbearers will be Cole Reddish, Bobby Smith, Grant DeLoach, James Davis, Charlie DeLoach, Pete Clark, Sam Miness, and Devin Wells.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Adult Ladies Sunday School class of Gum Branch Baptist Church, Curtis Scott, Woody Adams, Marty Adams, Howard Hill, and Doug Williams.
