Michael Shannon Vick

Hinesville –Michael Shannon Vick, 46, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 in Chapel Hill, NC.  He was a native of Liberty County where he had lived most of his life and had been living in Chapel Hill the last ten years.  He was a master mechanic and was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing.  He was a veteran of the US Coast Guard having served on the first ship to visit Russia on a goodwill mission.  Shannon was a Baptist.

He is survived by his parents, Stan and Jeri Vick of Hinesville; sisters and brother-in-law, Lisa and Lamar Dowd of Hinesville and Donna McHugh of Jacksonville, NC; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 18 at 2:30 PM in the Howard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gabe Gill officiating. 

Family will receive friends one hour prior to services in the chapel.
