Mark C. Smith

Ludowici – Mark Clifton Smith, 56, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 after a short illness.  He was a native of Cherryville, NC and had lived in Marietta for many years before settling in Long County fifteen years ago.  He was a roofer, painter and carpenter most of his life and had attended A New Beginning Church in Ludowici.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Brantley Smith.

Survivors are his son, Joshua Smith; daughter, Regina Taveirne both of Ludowici; mother, Christine Smith of Gastonia, NC; sisters, Melody Smith of Mt. Holly, NC and Maria Smith of Camden, SC; brother, Craig Smith of Cherryville, NC; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, August 7 at 7 PM at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tom Gardner officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the chapel.
