Louis Carter Obituary

Hortense – Louis Wesley Carter, 57, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at his home. Born in Savannah, he had lived in Brunswick and McIntosh County most of his life and in Hortense the past six years. He was an iron worker and preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Carroll Carter.

Survivors are his father, Louis E. Carter of Hortense; sisters and brothers-in-law, Loris and Furman Davis of Townsend and Tammy and Stevie Lee of Darien; brothers and sister-in-law, Lee Carter of Kingsland and Bryan and Rachel Carter of Darien; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, April 9 at 11 A.M. at the Howard Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Danny Stilwell officiating. Family will receive friends in the chapel.
